San Diego's Best 2014 U-T Readers Poll
Rules and Regulations for Online Participation
From April 13th- May 14th, 2014. Users may nominate one entry per category per day online at http://www.sdbestpoll.com. A login/registration is required to nominate. From these nominations, a list of up to 10 finalists per category will be presented for voting by users.
From June 1st- June 29th, 2014. Users may vote once per day per category online at http://www.sdbestpoll.com. Users will be required to login/register to participate.
Registration will appear as part of the site when a user attempts to nominate or vote for the first time. User registration is defined as one account per person. If it is determined that a user has created multiple accounts, all of that user's votes from all areas of Best of San Diego will be disqualified.
If it is determined that there are voting irregularities where a user or group of users abuses the system, or takes away from the spirit of this readers’ poll, votes are eligible for disqualification. U-T San Diego may use its discretion to make these determinations. All decisions are final.
Winners will be announced on August 25, 2014.
6. OTHER CONDITIONS
U-T San Diego reserves the right to change, modify, or extend dates if it should be deemed necessary. U-T San Diego reserves the right to suspend or cancel at any time. U-T San Diego assumes no responsibility for injury or loss that may arise from participation in the contest. U-T San Diego assumes no responsibility for computer system, phone line, hardware, software or program malfunctions, delayed computer transmissions or network connections that are human or technical in nature. U-T San Diego reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend this contest, in its entirety or in part should virus, bug, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or other causes beyond U-T San Diego's control corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper play of the contest. U-T San Diego is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by Internet users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the contest by any technical or human errors, which may occur in the processing of the entries in the contest. U-T San Diego reserves the right to withdraw the transmission of this contest at any time and award the prize from among eligible entries received prior to the date of the withdrawal. U-T San Diego reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the game or Web site or to be acting in violation of the official rules.
